“Black Clover” Chapter 189 is speculated to drop on January 20 and fans can’t wait for the upcoming release. Right now, the Black Bulls are still locked into a battle against the elves who managed to possess Gauche and Marie.
Although the Black Bulls have employed a lot of aggressive maneuvers to free their friends, Asta is still finding it difficult to connect his swings. This is despite the fact that the orphan has already used his black form twice. And given that he can use this ability for two and a half times, he only has a small window of opportunity in “Black Clover” Chapter 189 to end the fight, TheAnimeScrolls reported.
Fortunately, the messy magic exchanges finally got Asta close enough to the elves for his anti-magic sword to be effective. One swing from Asta’s third blade can sever the bonds that are currently holding Gauche and Marie. Hopefully, “Black Clover” Chapter 189 doesn’t drag the fight further as the Black Bulls still need to deal with Licht.
There’s also the fact that if the fight continues, Henry will undoubtedly try to sacrifice himself again to give the team the edge they need. However, given that the character is slowly amassing a large following, it’s unlikely that manga creator Yuki Tabata will write Henry off. This is especially true since Henry’s story is one of the most interesting side plots to follow. But deep character development is not expected to occur in “Black Clover” Chapter 189 given that the team is locked in combat at the moment.
Snippets, on the other hand, are a different matter. The previous release saw that even though the fight is unfolding at a well-paced speed, Tabata still managed to include some backstory for Henry. Fans are hoping that future chapters will explore Henry’s background further and provide some information on what Tabata is planning for the character. With Asta ready to end the battle and Licht eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Black Bulls, “Black Clover” Chapter 189 will certainly be another gripping read.
