“Black Clover” Chapter 186 is gearing up for yet another fight as the attack on the headquarters of the Eye of the Midnight Sun is well underway. The previous chapter saw Sally and the rest of the Black Bulls defeating Reve/Dorothy in the Glamour World in spectacular fashion.
Although most of the fight in the series are usually concluded through the sheer weight of magic capabilities, Reve/Dorothy’s defeat was accomplished by using creativity and teamwork. In fact, the offensive attacks employed by the Black Bulls were nothing more than misdirection and test-runs to determine the nature of the fascinating realm. And it’s for this reason that the previous chapter was such a big hit for readers. Unfortunately, such creativity isn’t expected to occur in “Black Clover” Chapter 186 since Asta is supposedly going head to head with Gauche.
It’s already been established that Asta isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed and he mostly solves problems by bashing it with his anti-magic sword. This isn’t to say that it’s a bad thing. After all, Asta’s demon form manifesting itself into the real world is one of the most epic scenes that the series has under its belt. Would the demon appear in “Black Clover” Chapter 186?
That remains to be seen. Right now, Gauche is possessed by Droit and it’s still uncertain how the elf will augment the nobleman’s magic. Gauche’s abilities mainly revolve around his manipulation of light and mirrors, more so for the latter than the former. This means that “Black Clover” Chapter 186 would feature a lot of distracting copies and a house of mirror sort of battlefield.
This is bad news for Asta since, as mentioned earlier, he isn’t the brightest character out there. Misdirection could prove to be one of the character’s weakness, especially when Droit is employing them. There’s also the fact that Asta will be holding back his powers as Droit is residing within Gauche’s body. Hopefully, the orphan could find a way to beat Droit into submission and rescue Gauche in the process. Sally would certainly help in this regard as she’s shown considerable deduction skills when breaking down opponents. As for when “Black Clover” Chapter 186 will be released, it’s scheduled to drop on Dec. 21, 2018.
