MINOT, N.D., April 25, 2018 -- Bakken Water Transfer Services Inc. (OTC Pink:BWTX), is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Dakota Energy Resources Corporation, has sold one of its many surface water contracts in its entirety to a large oilfield water resources contractor in the Bakken Shale Region of North Dakota. “This is a great start to the season for our company,” stated Michael Childs, President of Dakota Energy Resources Corporation. “We are seeing a significant amount of activity in the oilfield services business and we have plenty of permitted sources to supply water to oil producers in North Dakota this year. This transaction allowed us to take some profit on the resale of one of our sources, which is another way to monetize them besides the actual sale of water.”
Bakken is also pleased to announce that it has received a signed agreement to supply up to 2.3 million barrels of surface water with a repeat client beginning in May 2018.
