LOS ANGELES, April 04, 2018 -- B. Riley FBR, Inc. (“B. Riley FBR”), a leading full service investment bank and wholly-owned subsidiary of B. Riley Financial, Inc. (NASDAQ:RILY), announced today that Mark Squitieri has joined the firm as Head of IG Credit Trading and Managing Director of its Fixed Income Capital Markets group. In his new role, Mr. Squitieri will be managing the growth and development of a full service Investment Grade Credit Trading desk, as well as implement risk management measures and identify opportunities in the investment grade credit space to better serve the firm’s client base.
The firm’s Fixed Income Capital Markets group is a division which offers a broad array of investment, trading, analytic and underwriting services. Mr. Squitieri brings over 20 years of experience in corporate trading and establishing credit trading areas.

Prior to joining B. Riley FBR, Mr. Squitieri served as Managing Director of Corporate Trading at Tribal Capital Markets where he directed the development of the company’s Credit Trading platform. Earlier, Mr. Squitieri spent 20 years at Vining Sparks, a regional fixed income dealer, where he served as Director of Corporate Trading. During that time, Mr. Squitieri managed the Credit Trading desk and collaborated amongst the firm’s sales force and client list. In addition, he introduced the PFD stock, TRUP and TRUP CDO products to Vining Sparks. In the TRUP CDO space, Mr. Squitieri facilitated a successful offering valued at $720 million, one of the largest transactions in the firm’s history, and developed the PFD stock trading area which resulted in a number of co-manager designations for the firm.
Mr. Squitieri began his career as an investment banker after serving four years in the U.S. Army. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University (NCAS) and is based in the firm’s Memphis office.
