The world of cryptocurrency can be a confusing one. Many inexperienced investors end up FOMOin into projects at a high price and end up losing money when the more experienced traders sell. One of the best ways to make money with crypto is to invest in presales.
This is because the popularity of the token hasn’t exploded yet. Two tokens that had a very successful presale were Filecoin (FIL) and Tezos (XTZ). Autometa (ATA) is a brand new cryptocurrency that is about to launch its presale.
Filecoin (FIL)
Filecoin launched its presale in 2017 to tremendous success. The token released its initial coin offering (ICO) at $1 and shot to nearly $5 in a matter of minutes. The developers of the dApp managed to raise over $250 million in a very short time.
Hundreds of public investors flocked to the presale after significant backing from Sequoia Capital and Union Square Ventures. Filecoin (FIL) is a decentralised storage system network that allows its users to buy storage and also rent out existing storage from their pc as a way of earning passive income.
Tezos (XTZ)
Tezos (XTZ) is similar to Ethereum (ETH) in that it uses smart contracts to power its blockchain. The developers say that it could provide a more advanced and adaptable infrastructure, which is what separates it from the rest of the “Ethereum killers”.
It bills itself as "the final cryptocurrency" that is "safe, upgradeable, and built to last.” Tezos sold $232 million worth of $XTZ in less than two weeks. This included 361000 Ethereum (ETH) and 652627 Bitcoin (BTC). This was a record amount raised for presales at the time.
Autometa (ATA)
Autometa (ATA) is a brand new cryptocurrency that has only just started its presale. The project is a play to earn metaverse gaming platform that will be a decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO). There will be an NFT marketplace where you can purchase in-game assets to assist you to make money within the game.
As the presale has just begun, investors have a fantastic opportunity to get in on a project at this very early stage. This means that you could see substantial gains with many experts predicting that the token could see growth of at least 5000%.
In the years that followed the presales of Filecoin (FIL) and Tezos (XTZ) both coins shot to the moon. During the bull run of 2021, they both reached all-time highs with Filecoin smashing its way to a price of $237. Tezos (XTZ) also had a spectacular 2021 almost 4x in price. Both tokens have now established themselves as top 50 cryptos with the potential to easily break the top 20.
Autometa (ATA) will be hoping to achieve similar success to Filecoin and Tezos. With the presale about to get underway, there is a fantastic chance to make substantial gains by investing early.
The crypto markets are notoriously volatile and investing in a project that isn't yet fully established comes with risk. However, with the knowledge that your investment cant lose any value until the token is fully released there is some sense of assurance that your money is safe.
