(NASDAQ:ASFI) (“Asta” or the “Company”) announced today that it is extending its self-tender offer to purchase for cash up to 5,314,009 shares of its common stock at a purchase price of $10.35 per share, less applicable withholding taxes and without interest, until February 15, 2017, at 11:59 p.m., New York City time, unless the tender offer is further extended or withdrawn by the Company. Except for the extension of the self-tender offer, all other terms and conditions of the self-tender offer remain unchanged.
American Stock Transfer & Trust Company, LLC, the depositary for the self-tender offer, has advised that as of 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on February 1, 2017, approximately 716 shares of common stock have been validly tendered and not withdrawn pursuant to the tender offer, representing approximately 0.006% of the outstanding shares.
