Asian markets start a new week on positive note, gold falls below $1,320 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Monday. Gold was trading around $1,317 mark while silver was trading around $17.55 mark.

Japanese banks will be closed in observance of Respect-for-the-Aged Day.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.99 percent higher at 28,084.29 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.44 pct higher at 5,720.30 points.

Shanghai composite index to open flat at 3,352.51 points and China's CSI300 index to open flat at 3,832.96 points.

Taiwan stock was trading around 0.38 pct higher at 10,620.18 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.70 percent higher at 10,156.55 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.63 percent higher 32,474.91 points.

South Korea’s kospi was trading 1.11 percent higher at 2,412.03 points.
