Asian markets marginally higher, gold down

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Tuesday. Gold was trading around $1,288 mark while silver was trading around $16.97 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.08 pct higher at 19,408.50 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 1.01 percent higher at 27,428.29 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.30 pct higher at 5,741.50 points.

Shanghai composite index to open flat at 3,287.61 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,745.75 points.

Taiwan stock was trading around 0.66 pct higher at 10,394.42 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.38 percent higher at 9,792.15 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.14 percent higher at 31,301.77 points.

South Korea’s kospi was trading 0.41 percent higher at 2,364.22 points.
