WHAT: Presentations at the conference will address scale-out server adoption and substantial progress toward next-generation X-Gene® 3 server platforms:
- Keynote Session: ARM-based Servers: A Market and Product Update
Dr. Paramesh Gopi, president and CEO of AppliedMicro, and Linley Gwennap, president of The Linley Group, will share this keynote presentation. Dr. Gopi will reveal performance characteristics for X-Gene 3, AppliedMicro’s flagship server processor in his presentation “X-Gene 3: Proven Performance.” Mr. Gwennap will discuss his view of data center demand for ARM-based processors, as well as his opinions regarding required performance characteristics to facilitate wide-scale adoption. The session will take place on Thursday, April 14 from 2:30 – 3 p.m. PDT and will livestream on Periscope @AppliedMicro.
