iPhone 11 is said to be confirmed already. After much speculations about the latest Apple mobile phone unit, it was reported that the leaked images of the three variants of the model are correct.
However, it appears that the iPhone 11 has a different name and based on the info they will be called D42 which is meant to replace the iPhone XS and the D43 will be replacing the XS Max units. The third type is called the N104, and it will out phase the iPhone XR models.
These are the code names used by Apple, but they will be included in the iPhone 11 family line. It is possible that Apple will introduce them to the market with new names, but these have yet to be announced.
Confirmation and release date
According to 9to5Mac, the iPhone 11 series has been verified already, and they will come with the latest features like the Taptic Engine and Smart Frame for the camera. The units are said to be launched in the market this coming fall with no specific date yet.
Prior to this confirmation, well-known Apple leaker, Marques Brownlee, posted a video on July 16 on YouTube and he showed the three dummy units of the iPhone 11 series. He also described the handsets, and all of them features a large space for the camera at the back of the phone.
Features and specifications
The new iPhone 11 units are said to arrive with a Lightning port as its new feature. The USB-C is likely to be removed in favor of the said port. The phones will have OLED Retina display while the N104 will be fitted with the 2x Liquid Retina display.
The three iPhone 11 will have the same screen size and processors, and they will have the Taptic Engine. This is also called the leap haptics, and it is expected to improve the Haptic Touch function since not all the devices will feature the 3D Touch that is being used today.
Camera’s Smart Frame
iPhone 11’s newest interesting feature is the Smart Frame. With this, users can easily repair any ruined photos. This means that snaps with subjects that are out of frame or had their head cut off can be repaired and come out as a brand new image.
