Apple fans may just have a thing to be excited about for this September aside from Apple's potential announcement of its next generation of smartphones. Apple's foray into the smartwatch market may have a crowd pleaser in its hands with the Apple Watch 4 for 2018.
A recent post by the tech rumor website 9to5Mac claims that exclusive, non-mock-up pictures of the Apple Watch 4 have been leaked to the website. The leaked image of the Apple Watch 4 shows a bigger screen that covers the watch's face from edge-to-edge in a much deeper fashion than the Apple Watch 3.
Based on the leaked image, the content of the screen also shows more information being packed onto the Apple Watch 4's surface. Where the Apple Watch 4 is able to display the wearer's schedule, current temperature, UV levels, the clock, as well as other miscellaneous information, the older Apple Watch had to make do with separating some of the information behind menus.
While the Apple Watch 4 has yet to be officially announced, fans can potentially get official news about Apple's next most likely upgrade for the Apple Watch during Apple's special event on Sept. 12.
The Apple special event will most likely focus on the unveiling of Apple's new iPhone handsets such as the iPhone XS and iPhone X Plus, but it would also be the best opportunity for Apple to talk about its development in the smartwatch industry by talking about the Apple Watch 4.
Fans who want to be able to watch the exclusive invite-only event by Apple through the internet can follow the guide put up by MacWorld. Fans can await the official announcement of the Apple Watch 4 during the upcoming event as the Apple Watch 3 was also announced in September of last year.
