The ongoing divorce of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has always been in the celeb news headlines since the papers were filed a couple of years ago. But none of the Hollywood stars has actually gone on record to provide an update. A recent rumor suggests that is about to change.
As the first court trial for Pitt and Jolie’s custody dispute approaches, the actor was reportedly gearing up to appear in at the popular Facebook Watch talk show “Red Table Talk.” To those not familiar, it is hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Jones.
The report originally came from Straight Shuter podcast host Rob Shuter. The producers of “Red Table Talk” are purportedly on negotiations to have Brad Pitt as one of their upcoming guests. Considering the status of his relationship with Angelina Jolie, his presence at the talk show would most likely stir up more controversies.
“Red Table Talk” has amassed more than 4 million followers and has aired 15 episodes that accumulated more than 219 million views on Facebook, as of this writing. The hosts and guests openly discuss topics about addiction, immigration, losing a loved one, sex, domestic violence, racism, and more. With the obvious no-holds-barred format of Red Table Talk, having Pitt as a future guest amid his divorce battle with Jolie will surely make for another very interesting episode. But is the actor really booked to appear in the show?
News outlet Gossip Cop followed up on the report and maintained that Pitt and Jolie’s divorce will never be discussed on the Facebook-hosted talk show or on any other public platform. A representative of the actor said, “He will never dish on her in public and certainly not on a podcast.”
The court has set a trial date for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s custody case. There are reports claiming that the estranged couple is still working out a settlement. If they will not come up with an agreement, they are going to see each other in court on Dec. 4.
