PRINCETON, N.J., Aug. 03, 2017 -- Agile Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq:AGRX), a forward-thinking women’s healthcare company, today announced the pricing of its underwritten public offering of 5,333,334 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $3.75 per share. The gross proceeds from the offering, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses payable by Agile Therapeutics, are expected to be approximately $20 million. In addition, Agile Therapeutics granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 800,000 additional shares of common stock at the public offering price, less the underwriting discounts and commissions. All shares in the offering will be sold by Agile Therapeutics.
The joint book-running managers for the offering are William Blair, RBC Capital Markets, and Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. In addition, Janney Montgomery Scott is acting as lead manager and Noble Capital Markets is acting as a co-manager.
The offering is expected to close on or about August 8, 2017, subject to customary closing conditions.
