Adidas and 11 Honoré announce their team up to offer plus size high-performance style collection to customers. The German sneaker and clothing manufacturing company headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, said that the collaboration would produce high-performance clothing pieces with sizes from 1XL to 4XL.
11 Honoré is the luxury unit of Dia & Co which acquired the former in June this year. Its partnership with Adidas will mark the first time that the brand is introducing a high-performance stylish collection for plus-size customers.
The designers and experts at 11 Honoré, who have more than a decade of experience in creating size-inclusive clothing pieces, will work on Adidas’ top performance material technology. They expect the result to be unique sports styles that go beyond the boundaries.
As per WWD, the team-up is in line with supporting Adidas’ commitment to making sports available for everyone, regardless of size. Adidas and 11 Honoré will produce 14 key looks that will generate 30 styles for various sports and activities - from yoga, training, and high-impact workouts to simple casual days.
Prices for the new Adidas x 11 Honoré collection will start at $60 up to $140. People can buy exclusive items at dia.com and adidas.com.
It was shared that each clothing item was designed with 11 Honoré’s own grading process that adjusts the fit to each size and piece. It is then weaved together with Adidas’ first-rate material innovation.
“We are excited to join forces with Adidas on this debut performance and style collection, as 11 Honoré has always stood for accessibility and inclusion,” 11 Honoré’s chief executive officer and Dia & Co. co-founder, Nadia Boujarwah, said in a press release. “We are incredibly proud to continue our mission with such a globally recognized brand by making sport accessible using Adidas technologies alongside our best-in-class grading system.”
She added, “At Dia & Co., we are passionately committed to bringing the best brands to the plus customer and are thrilled to see this partnership come to life.”
