ISO 27001:2013 is an information security standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the world’s largest developer of voluntary international standards, and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Appriss Retail’s certification was issued by A-lign, an independent and accredited certification body based in the United States on successful completion of a formal audit process.
“We take threats to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' information seriously,” said Raymond Kelly, vice-president of security and compliance, Appriss Retail. “Compliance with this internationally recognized standard confirms that Appriss Retail’s security management program is comprehensive and follows leading practices. This certification demonstrates our continued commitment to information security at every level and ensures that the security of our clients’ data and information has been addressed, implemented, and properly controlled in all areas of our organization.”
The ISO 27001:2013 certification applies to all Appriss Retail locations, analytics processing, and internal processes that support the Appriss Retail Performance Platform. This platform of solutions incorporates analytics and artificial intelligence to create real-time automated decisions, post-transaction insights, and recommended user actions. These are delivered to our retailer clients via several well-known product brands including Verify® return authorization and Secure™ exception reporting.
