CLEARWATER, Fla., Dec. 14, 2017 -- The Church of Scientology and Clearwater Community Volunteers invites all children and their parents or guardians to visit Winter Wonderland at Oseola Park downtown Clearwater before their 7 more days runs out. From Wednesday to Sunday up until the 22nd of December, Winter Wonderland is not only a super-lit wonderland of “snow”, it is a playground filled with activities and wonders for children of all ages: photos with Santa; cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus; entertainment; slides; bounce houses; petting zoo; and pony and “train” rides.

Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) is a non-profit, charitable organization made up entirely of volunteers and was founded by parishioners of the Church of Scientology in Clearwater. CCV produces the huge Easter Egg Hunt in Coachman Park in Clearwater every spring; Fashions with Flair fashion show fundraiser; and “Winter Wonderland”.
CCV gets their inspiration from L Ron Hubbard’s The Way to Happiness, chapter 4: “Love and Help Children.” CCV has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars over the past 25 years for charities such as Nourish to Flourish, Shriners Hospitals for Children Tampa; Boys and Girls Club of the Suncoast; Homeless Empowerment Program; and many other Tampa Bay charities.
