As the COVID situation eases worldwide, many plan their next vacation to visit exciting places. For this reason, we take this opportunity to highlight five exciting European options for your next trip.
Monte Carlo Monaco.
Monaco - For the flashy adventure
Anyone with an appetite for glamour would do well to visit the tiny luxury kingdom, located on the south-eastern coast of France. The country may be small in size, but it's certainly big when it comes to luxury.
Monaco is probably best known for its former princess Grace Kelly and its famous Formula 1 track. Still, there's also a fascinating history to explore, stretching back to the days of the Roman Empire to the Grimaldi family's rise to the empire starting in 1297.
Today, Monaco is the playground of the rich, with massive yachts being a common sight and a plethora of Michelin-starred restaurants promising a culinary dream experience. They are still best known for their luxurious casinos, only open to tourists and not residents of Monaco. Those looking to top off their evening at the world-famous Monte Carlo casino should consider warming up their gaming skills at this website - where you can find the best real money online casinos with significantly lower stakes. Going to Monaco is not a cheap affair, but it is an experience well worth remembering.
Iceland - For unforgettable nature experiences
Let's move on from one small country to another. Despite being a magical place with breathtaking nature scenes, surprisingly few tourists go there. One reason for this is, of course, the notorious price tag, but it may also be because it's a destination that feels remote. It might be a long flight, but if you want to experience one of the most beautiful places on the planet, Iceland is the place to go.
Iceland has everything from fabulous waterfalls to vast open plains. Then there's the gorgeous blue lagoon - a geometric spa where the temperature is always between 26-39 degrees - the magnificent geysers and the black beach at Reynisfjära, a world-famous destination after appearing in both Game of Thrones and the new Star Wars films. A trip to Iceland is perfect for those who want to enjoy the wonderful scenery.
Croatia - For the cosy family time
Over the past ten years, Croatia has become a favourite destination for many travellers worldwide, and it's no wonder. With good value for money, great food and a huge stretch of coastline, there's plenty to enjoy, especially for families with children who want to live well while being close to exciting activities. Croatia is an excellent place for snorkelling and visiting ancient ruins, as well as enjoying the best pizza outside Italy's borders.
A warm recommendation is to take a beer tour starting from the coastal city of Split, which is another Game of Thrones filming location. Split is Croatia's second-largest city and one of the most beautiful and rich in history. A mighty palace dominates the old town with tall bell towers, built in the late 2nd century by the Roman emperor Diocletian. The Riva is the pretty harbour promenade lined with restaurants and ice cream parlours.
There are several beautiful islands to visit in the surrounding area, some of which offer abundant nightlife while others provide a peaceful tranquillity almost entirely devoid of other tourists. Croatia is a perfect destination to take the family, whether for a weekend or a couple of weeks of island hopping in the Mediterranean.

Blue eye albania.
Albania is still relatively undeveloped and has a lot to offer for little money. The district of Saranda is famous for its lovely beaches, both in the central town of Saranda and along the entire coast. But there is much more to experience here, both in terms of nature and history.
You can swim in the sea at the white sandy beach of Ksamil or snorkel at Mirror Beach, just before Ksamil. If you want more space, head north to Borsh and the long stretch of beach with room for everyone.
We recommend going to the 'Blue Eye', Syri in Kaltër, a water source with ten-degree waters a few miles from Saranda. The natural phenomenon is 50 metres deep, resembles an eye in shape and colour, and is an experience worth the visit.
The ancient city of Butrint, about 40 minutes from Saranda by bus or car, is also well worth an excursion. The archaeological site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Other worth-to-visit destinations are the historic town of Gjirokastër overlooking the Drina River valley, the old bazaar, the medieval castle and the Ethnographic Museum.
Denmark - A vibrant metropolis
Denmark offers fun in every form, with vast sandy beaches and turquoise seas, amusement parks and summer parks, museums and art galleries. It's also the home of one of the children's favourite toys: Lego.
On a trip to Denmark, stop off in the vibrant metropolis of Copenhagen. The charming capital city really does have something for everyone. Take the kids to the Tivoli Gardens, go shopping on Ströget and watch the crowds from an outdoor terrace in Nyhavn. The relaxed Danish culture is palpable in Copenhagen.
Denmark offers many amusement parks for both children and those with a childlike spirit. World-famous Legoland, the water adventure The Reef and the summer wonderland Djur Sommerland to name a few.
In North Jutland lies beautiful Skagen with its nature experiences, magical light and famous sunsets. In eastern Jutland, you'll find the cultural capital of Aarhus with its wide range of entertainment and unique mix of old and new. The city is one of Denmark's oldest but with a young population thanks to its university.
With these tips, we hope you'll find a lovely destination to visit if you decide to leave your house for a new adventure.
