I completed my PhD in European Studies at the University of Bradford and taught at the universities of Strathclyde, Edinburgh and Glasgow before coming to the University of Westminster in 2004. I work in the fields of comparative European politics and European Union politics, specialising in German politics, political identity and internal security.
