Researcher (Political Science), Royal Holloway
Rakib Ehsan is a researcher at Royal Holloway, University of London.
His PhD thesis, which was funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), investigated how patterns of intergroup contact are related to generalised social trust and political-institutional trust among British ethnic minorities.
His research interests include young people's politics, integration issues in Germany, the political rise of Donald Trump and the attitudinal drivers behind Brexit.
Professionally, he has worked as a University Seminar Tutor, with a property & development communications consultancy, a criminal justice charity and independent think-tank Intergenerational Foundation. He currently works as a research consultant for the Greater London Authority.
