I am interested in learning new things about the natural world and the history of life, especially using computers and maths. I trained in Zoology (BSc hons) and Palaeobiology (MSc, PhD) at the Universities of Bristol and Cambridge. I have since done postdoctoral research in mathematical biology and evolutionary science at the Universities of Sydney, Cambridge and the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
