Professor of Operations Management at IMD and EPFL. Professor Siefert's primary research and teaching interests relate to operations management, supply chain strategy and technology management. He has also worked on industry analysis, competitive strategy and new venture formation. At IMD, he directs the new Digital Supply Chain Management program, which addresses both traditional supply chain strategy and implementation issues as well as digitalization trends and new technologies. Prior to joining IMD, Professor Seifert studied and worked in Germany, Japan and the US. He holds PhD degree in Management Science from Stanford University.
