I am a research scientist at the British Columbia Centre on Substance Use and the British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS; and an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. An epidemiologist, my research focuses on the health impacts of psychoactive drug use, especially cannabis.
