Pablo obtained his BA and MA in Philosophy from Universidad de Chile in Santiago, Chile. He then spent two years as a Ph. D. student in the University of California, Merced at the Cognitive and Information Sciences group. He is interested in how the cultural, social and linguistic structure that humans have created have transformed, and continue to shape, our cognitive systems. He is also interested in the dynamics of scientific knowledge creation as a collective endeavor, especially in how to bring data-driven analysis and computational simulation into the discipline of science studies. He is also a member of Rick Dale’s Co-Mind Lab at the University of California, Los Angeles.
