I am a Professor of Employment Relations in the School of Management at the University of Sheffield and director of the Work, Organisation and Employment Relations Research Centre (WOERRC). My main research interest is in the connections between employment relations, the labour market and public policy. I am currently research European labour market policies, employment protection legislation reforms, underemployment and ways of improving labour inspection and enforcement of employment rights.
