César Rendueles (b. 1975) holds a PhD in philosophy and is a professor of sociology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He is the author of "Sociophobia. Political Change in the Digital Utopia" (2017, Columbia University Press). He has also edited classical texts by Karl Marx, Walter Benjamin, and Karl Polanyi.
