Dr Ashleigh Smith is an emerging research leader whose research is positioned at the nexus of neuroscience, exercise physiology and cognitive ageing. Her research vision is to reduce age-related disability in older adults (including slowing the progression to dementia) through applying novel exercise interventions and exploring the nexus between physical activity, brain function and cognitive health.
