Lecturer in Media and Communications, University of Melbourne
Dr Jennifer Beckett is a lecturer in media communications at the University of Melbourne. Her areas of research includes social media, marketing communications, public and community engagement, fan cultures, convergence media, and journalism practice. She has previously worked as an online and social media producer at the ABC, while her PhD focused on the use of media as a means of addressing national traumas.
Jennifer is also a self-confessed comic book geek and much of her current research focuses on the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
