I have an inter-disciplinary background with degrees in History (BA (Hons) from De Montfort University, and War Studies (MA) from Kings college London. After graduating, I became a music teacher in secondary school for a year before gaining a QTS in history. I commenced my PhD with Royal Holloway University of London in September 2013.
