I have a BA (Griffith), M.Soc.Sci (Qld) and a PhD (Qld). I have taught at three universities in Australia (Griffith, Tasmania University and Western Sydney) and have been a visiting professor at universities in Japan, China and South Korea.
In 2014 I was a Japan Foundation Fellow at Tokyo University. My most recent publications is
