A. SHAHAAB is a PhD candidate at Cardiff Metropolitan University. His research focuses on the feasibility of Distributed Ledgers (DLTs) and Blockchain Technology to guarantee the integrity of Companies House UK data. Key areas of his research are DLTs frameworks, security, privacy and immutability aspects of DLTs and Blockchain as well as legislative and deployment challenges. He also has a passionate interest in utilising blockchain technology to solve real world issues around trust, transparency and identity. Having MSc in advanced computer science from University of St. Andrews, UK and BS in Computer Engineering from Comsats Islamabad, Pakistan, Ali has a strong grip on software systems, distributed computing, cryptography and information systems.
