Dr James Martin is Associate Professor and Criminology Discipline Convener at the Department of Social Sciences at Swinburne University. James' principal areas of research interests are cryptomarkets and online drug distribution, and the global War on Drugs. He is currently investigating the health impacts of cryptomarkets as part of a National Medical Heatlh Research Council funded project. James is a also founding member of the Cryptomarkets Research Hub, an international and multidisciplinary research network focused on the study of the online illicit drugs trade.
