Harry Hobbs is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Law, University of Technology Sydney.
Harry teaches and researches in the areas of public law, Indigenous rights, human rights, and international law. His PhD explored whether and how an Indigenous representative body could empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with the capacity to be heard in the processes of government in Australia.
Prior to joining UTS Law, Harry worked in the Parliamentary Joint Committee of Human Rights, the ACT Human Rights Commission, and as the Legal Research Officer at the High Court of Australia. He has a PhD from the University of New South Wales, a LLM from New York University, and a BA/LLB (Honours) from the Australian National University.
