Professor Craig Batty is Head of Discipline, Creative Writing, at the University of Technology Sydney. There he oversees all aspects of teaching and learning, research and engagement.
Craig's areas of expertise are screenwriting, creative practice research and doctoral supervision. He is author and editor of 10 books on screenwriting, media writing, screen production and creative doctorates, and has written over 70 peer-reviewed articles and chapters, and numerous industry articles, interviews and book reviews. He is also a script editor, script consultant and occasional screenwriter, having worked on short film, feature film, television and online drama projects.
