Dr McKee is a Senior Lecturer in Social Policy & Housing, who joined the University of Stirling in 2018. Her research is qualitative and inter-disciplinary, focusing on housing inequalities and the relationships of power underpinning these. Kim is currently Editor, journal of Housing Studies; member of the ESRC peer review college; and editorial board member for the journal Housing, Theory and Society. She is past Chair of the Housing Studies Association (UK Learned Society) and former Director of the St Andrews' Centre for Housing Research (2014-18).
