Yang Hyun Suk is under fire after his name was linked into IKON’s B.I.’s drug case that resurfaced again after Dispatch released a chat conversation where the 22-year-old boyband member was said to be buying LSD, a hallucinogenic drug, in 2016. The YG Entertainment CEO now faced allegations that he tried to cover up the case after pressuring a witness to change his testimony.

Based on the reports, Kim Han Bin a..k.a. B.I. purchased LSD in 2016 and the authorities were able to uncover the trail of the transaction but they did not really look into it thoroughly. It was investigated for a bit but the case did not prosper as it was immediately dismissed.

At that time, a witness said that he delivered the illegal drug to Hanbin but later on, he changed his story and said that he never gave the drugs to the idol singer. This led to the belief that Yang Hyun Suk interfered and used money to silence the witness and stop the investigation. In other words, people suspect that corruption is involved in the case too.

When contacted for comments, it was said that Yang Hyun Suk denied the accusations and stated that he only met with the witness to check if the rumors were true. He claimed that he did not threaten or force the witness to retract his testimony.

Now, it turned out that the witness being referred to is Han Seo Hee, the former YG trainee who was also involved in Big Bang TOP’s marijuana case. While Yang denied the rumors, Han seems to confirm that she was threatened and her former CEO influenced her testimony in B.I.’s case.

Soompi translated her recent Instagram post and she said that the reports are all true.

"What the article says is true,” she wrote. “I'm going to be scolded by Yang Hyun Suk so I really can't say anything. I'm going to change my number."

Han So Hee further wrote: “I’m going to return to Korea in two days. It’s true that I’m surprised and scared but I’ve made up my mind, so there’s no need to worry.”
