In this week’s round of “World of Warcraft” bonus events, qualified players will have an opportunity to gain an additional 50% reputation buff as long as the Timewalking activity is live. Unfortunately, not all players can participate, and the minimum level required is quite high this time.
‘World of Warcraft’ weekly event brings back Mists of Pandaria Heroic Dungeons
“World of Warcraft” players who have reached level 91 or higher are the only ones who can join the Mists of Pandaria Timewalking event. This will give them access to six Heroic Dungeons, namely Temple of the Jade Serpent, Stormstout Brewery, Shado-Pan Monastery, Mogu’shan Palace, Siege of Niuzao Temple, and Gate of the Setting Sun.
During the week, the level of challenges and the loot drops players will find while exploring these dungeons will be different compared to regular timewalking events. “Your character and items will be scaled down to a power level fitting for the challenge at hand, but bosses will yield loot appropriate for your natural level,” Blizzard Entertainment explained.
Participating in the Timewalking activities will also let “World of Warcraft” players collect Timewarped Badges. They can then use this as in-game currency and exchange it for some special items once they find the new Timewalking vendor named Mistweaver Xia. The vendor can be located in the Timeless Isle.
Timewarped Badges can be exchanged for an array of items such as the dragonkin Pets Infinite Hatchling and the aquatic Paradox Spirit. Players can also opt for other rewards like reputation tokens usable on major Pandaria factions, so gamers should decide which items to buy depending on their gaming needs.
After completing five Timewalking dungeons, “World of Warcraft” players will be eligible to accept quests from Chronicler Shoopa in Zuldazar and Chronicler Toopa in Boralus. Completing this quest will reward them with an Artifact Power and a loot box that contains a Ny'alotha, the Waking City gear for Normal difficulty. Whichever way players choose to participate in this event, they will gain 50% more reputation gains.
How to join the current ‘World of Warcraft’ weekly event
“World of Warcraft” weekly events regularly start every Tuesday and end on Monday of the following week. Qualified players can initiate the event by going to the Group Finder menu, select Dungeon Finder, and choose Timewalking under the “Type” dropdown options.
