Watson’s Seasoning Blends is the newest spice blend in town, and it was created to make plant-based cooking easier. The company is based in Los Angeles and was founded by long-time vegans Lori and Jim Amos.
Watson’s Seasoning Blends are best for healthy home-cooked meals. The availability of such healthier types of spices will allow people to eat fresh and provide more plant-based options for home cooking.
The new seasoning blends were described to be a new line of clean, organic culinary spice blends. As posted on the company’s TasteWatsons website, the blends are for both experienced chefs and novice cooks who can only ‘heat and eat.’ The seasonings are for everyone who would like to level up their food without so much fuss.
It was emphasized that Watson’s Seasoning Blends are made from premium, sustainably sourced ingredients, so they are perfect for healthier meal preparations. Vegconomist mentioned that most shoppers are not aware of the fact that store-bought spice blends usually contain unspecified ingredients, pesticides, and synthetic additives, unlike the new seasoning blends.
People who cook can choose from six chef-crafted Watson’s Seasoning Blends and these are California Everything, Yumami, Nudish, Furikake, Nord (Northern Italian seasoning), and the Sud (Southern Italian seasoning). It was said that the family-owned company is also planning to release two more blends for Latin American flavors, and they may be coming out this March.
“We wanted to find a way to make it easier for consumers - whether they be vegan, flexitarian or omnivore - to enjoy eating fresh, healthy, less processed food by making these dishes more flavorful and even crave-worthy,” Food Industry Executive quoted Lori Amos as saying about the launch of the new seasonings.
She added, “My decades of experience marketing iconic global food brands has made me realize that people want an elevated culinary experience with unique flavors that focus both on health (theirs and the planet) as well as on their palate. They want the best of both worlds and that’s what we’ve given them with Watson’s.”
