The “WWE Super ShowDown” is still a while away, but some matches have already been announced. On that note, there are still some slots that need to be filled, and speculations are rife of the kinds of fights that will be added. To start with, there’s the matter of Rey Mysterio supposedly defending his title by essentially sending his own son out to fight his battles for him.
As full slate prediction of the matches going down in “WWE Super ShowDown” is available over at Sportskeeda, with the list including such things as a 50-man Battle Royale. However, several of the matches that were supposed to have been announced by now are still missing. As such, there is still room for speculation with regards to the program’s bigger players.
Among them is Rey Mysterio with the masked luchador essentially being unable to fight due to an injury. With the former holder of his belt demanding that it be returned, Mysterio’s son Dominic could step into the ring in his place during “WWE Super ShowDown.” Not only would it be quite a dramatic turn, but it would also work as an excellent platform for a debut.
Another match that could be in the making for “WWE Super ShowDown” is that between Roman Reigns and Shane McMahon. This could be done via a singles match or as a tag-team, with the latter being a more interesting development. Even with that being the case, however, this should prove to be one of the least compelling matchups simply because Shane is one of the most boring performers in existence.
Finally, there is the matter of Brock Lesnar going up against Seth Rollins. The stakes will be the Universal Championship, which Lesnar is expected to cash the “money in the bank” prize for. Whatever the case may be, fans will find out soon enough.
