TikTok will bring a range of content featuring some of golf’s biggest stars in new content partnerships with the PGA Tour, the DP World Tour, and the R&A ahead of the 150th edition of The Open golf major in St Andrews on 14th July.'
The content includes behind-the-scenes clips and top tips.
Since there have been 27 billion views of #Golf on TikTok to date, the app is launching a new hashtag challenge to celebrate the collaboration and expand its golf content library.
The relationship will provide golf fans with exclusive access to the sport's most recognizable players and competitions, according to Sanjit Sarkar, strategic partner manager at TikTok. It will also help the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, and Open Championships expand and reach new audiences.
