‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7, Episode 4 Spoilers: “Service” – Rick Submits Alexandria to Negan Following Visit? Creator Reveals Plans to Kill Off Negan

Andrew Lincoln plays Rick Grimes on AMC's 'The Walking Dead'

‘The Walking Dead’ season 7’s episode 4, entitled “Service”, will feature Negan’s arrival in Alexandria. Rick may finally submit the community to Negan following his unexpected visit. Meanwhile, creator Robert Kirkman admitted that he planned to kill off the villain eventually.

In the incoming episode of AMC’s popular zombie drama, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will be leaving the Sanctuary to pay the residents of Alexandria an unexpected visit. This can only mean that Negan and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) will be crossing paths once again. Season 4 is expected to run longer than the usual and will last 90 minutes instead of 60 minutes.

The official synopsis for “Service” posted on Comicbook stated, "The remaining members of the group try to keep it together in Alexandria; they receive a sobering visit." In the promo, Rick and his group are distraught as Negan calls out from the gate, “Little pig, little pig! Let me in.”

In the next scene, Rick tells the people of his community, “Let me put this to all of you as clearly as I can. There is no way out of this.” He then makes an ultimatum, “I’m not in charge anymore. Negan is.”

Negan is seen arriving at Alexandria with his villainous Saviors. There is a point where a clearly anxious Michonne (Danai Gurira) is aiming a rifle at a yet identified target. Perhaps she is attempting to shoot the intruder.

Meanwhile, creator Robert Kirkman revealed during the New York Comic-Con panel that he plans to kill off Negan eventually. According to Express, Kirkman told audiences, “When I run out of ideas for Negan, I'll just kill him… Negan was supposed to die at the end of the 'Something to Fear' arc. He was originally supposed to be in the book for only four or five issues....It was supposed to end when Maggie takes over the Hilltop. Rick was going to deliver Negan's head in a box to Maggie to say, 'I'm sorry.'"

Morgan hinted during a previous interview that his maniacal character will continue to stay on through season 7. Meanwhile, actress Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie Greene, admitted that her character will seek revenge for Glenn’s murder.

She said, “You'll see how she lives on in honour of Glenn and in vengeance of Negan, and it's a real war in her brain, and in protection of the baby… I really liked the fact that Glenn says, 'I'll find you,' because she takes him with her. It's difficult to even encapsulate the grief like that."

Cohan added, "I think that she needs to cope and she needs to push forward, and it's just that next task that she can take… And as things go on, she needs to do right by people and honour her husband and take care of her child, and those things might become things that make a good person to look up to."

‘The Walking Dead’ season 7’s episode 4, entitled “Service”, is scheduled to premiere on AMC on November 13, 2016.
