DALLAS, Dec. 15, 2017 -- The Delta Companies (TDC), a leading staffing firm for healthcare professionals nationwide, announced that in 2017 the firm raised $144,347.08 in donations benefitting Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC). Through efforts such as an annual golf tournament and inviting employees to wear casual work attire in exchange for a $1 per day donation, TDC has raised a total of $1,013,856.66 for TSRHC since 2006.
TDC’s 2017 fundraising efforts will be used by the hospital to purchase toys and books, support Camp Freedom, and assist with the needs of the Orthotics Department.
“We are so grateful to our wonderful friends at The Delta Companies who have generously supported the work of TSRHC for nearly two decades,” said Stephanie Brigger, Vice President, Development, TSRHC. “Through early efforts like the Discovery Toy Drive to more recent events like the Disco Cup Golf Tournament and 2017 Disco Dash, The Delta Companies has made an enormous impact on the lives of our patients. In total, Delta Companies and its employees have contributed over $1Million to help the hospital provide world-class treatment and therapies to kids. We are so honored to have the friendship and support of this amazing group of people who have allowed us to continue to do what’s ‘Rite’ for kids, regardless of ability to pay.”
“It’s exciting and rewarding to partner with TSRHC, and we are humbled to support the hospital’s important mission,” said Bill Tracewell, CEO of TDC. “Crossing the million-dollar mark in fundraising efforts is a big achievement, and I commend our employees for their giving hearts.”
