“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 23 will be the final chapter in this installment so it is expected to wrap up with great discoveries. It will be the finale as the show will not be able to proceed with their treasure hunting since the harsh winter weather in Nova Scotia is fast approaching.
Rick, Marty Lagina and their team of science experts have encountered many dead ends throughout the season but this did not stop them from continuing the digs and hunt for clues. The evidence and artifacts that they have unearthed so far pushed them to research and dig more because they believe that all of them are pointing them in the right direction and today, they have been closer to the Money Pit because of those clues.
Episode synopsis
As posted on History, “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 23 has been titled “Timeline” and it’s synopsis reads: “It’s the end of drilling season on Oak Island and after a year that saw the fellowship make a number of groundbreaking discoveries in their quest to solve a 225-year-old treasure mystery, the team is determined not to leave the island without making at least one more historic breakthrough.”
As stated, the team will not leave the island without finding something that can be called “groundbreaking” or their best discovery yet. They feel that they are very close to getting to where the treasures were buried more than two centuries ago.
Also, they have made big progress in Samual Ball’s property after securing the permit to dig. As reported on EconoTimes, they found that the anomaly underground is actually a tunnel but they need to dig some more to see where it will lead them. The treasure hunters are optimistic that they are right in suggesting that Ball found part of the treasures and that was how he was able to acquire the lands he owned on the island and became very wealthy.
Since “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 23 is the last episode, they are also expected to reveal something from the swamp as well, perhaps they figured out already what the paved stones were used for.
