“Money Heist” season 5 is anticipated even if it has not been that long when Netflix released the fourth season. Fans are just excited for the next installment because the finale of season 4 left many cliffhangers that need answers so they want to know if the streaming service provider has already renewed the show or not.
The renewal update
Actually, Netflix has not issued any statements yet with regards to the renewal of “Money Heist” season 5. Everyone wants an answer but fans should know that even the creator of this drama originally titled “La Casa de Papel” has no idea if they are getting a new season.
Alex Pina, the creator of “Money Heist” said that has of this time, he has no update about the drama’s renewal so he is not sure if there will be more productions ahead. However, he did confirm that he heard some rumors stating that the fifth installment has been renewed. Pina clarified that this news did not come from him and he is also waiting for Netflix to inform him if they will continue.
“Someone knows there will be a fifth season, but we don't," Pina told the Spanish publication ABC. “There were discussions about it but there is no official decision as of this time.”
Moreover, another publication called Marca also released an article about the drama. It stated that “Money Heist” season 5 is confirmed and Netflix will announce it soon. What is exciting about this reveal is that the article suggested that season 6 was also approved for production.
New cast addition and plot prediction
In any case, “Money Heist” season 5 will feature a new character called Manila. She was introduced in season 4 and her character will move forward to the fifth.
She is a new member of the heist team and as mentioned on Express, this character is being played by Belen Cuesta. Her role is controversial because Manila is a trans-woman.
Finally, “Money Heist” season 5 is predicted to continue with their activities with new team members who will be replaced the people they’ve lost like Nairobi. Arturo may also be killed by Manila because of their not-so-good encounter in the previous season. Fans may see the drama again some time in 2021.
