The remaining episodes of “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 this month are looking very promising based on the teasers available online. For episode 17, it is hinted that the crew will unearth pieces of evidence that suggest they are very close to where the real treasures are. The following installment will tackle one of the favorite subjects this season: the potential Money Pit and Knights Templar connection.
In this week's installment of “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6, the team of treasure hunters led by Marty and Rick Lagina will seemingly have a good day on the field. The 30-second preview to episode 17 shows them discovering some interesting items.
For one, the team's attention will be centered on a certain silver coin that they deem to be a Spanish artifact in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 17. On the same day of digging, the crew will also find a “piece of a chain,” a supposed leather, and possible bone fragment.
The preview for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 17 shows the Lagina brothers as very optimistic about the area of their operations in this installment. Rick even says in an interview, “We could be a few feet away from the real answers.”
Meanwhile, “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 18 is equally exciting. Many fans have certainly been waiting for the time when the crew revisits the most important discovery they made in season 5. It can be recalled that they unearthed a medieval cross that could prove that Knights Templar presence in the Money Pit area.
Just like with the other items discovered in the show, the crew sent the medieval cross to experts for further analysis. The synopsis for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 18 indicates that a new discovery next week could be linked to the said cross and, ultimately, to the suspected arrival of the Knights Templar on the island in the early days. Catch these episodes on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on History Channel.
