The work of Marty Lagina, Rick Lagina, and their crew continues in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 15. The team needs a win now more than ever after a series of mishaps they previously encountered.

Luckily for fans, the official synopsis for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 15 already seems way more positive than what happened last week. According to the teaser, the upcoming events might eventually lead the team “straight to the Money Pit.”

The crew will continue to monitor the “dangerous collapse” at the borehole H8 in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 15. At the same time, the episode synopsis teases they will be conducting a test. The episode title and preview reveals it is a dye test. The trailer shows the cast dumping a red-colored dye into the area where they suspect a flood tunnel exists.

If the dye drains onto Smith’s Cove, the team could be closer to confirming that such underground flood tunnels exist. The “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 15 trailer ends with someone excitedly saying, “Oh, my God” suggesting that the team could be getting a positive result at the end of the day.

As mentioned, the crew needs a major break in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 15, especially after the series of bad news in the previous installment. Before that, the team had exciting development after some testing and analysis done over the papers they previously dug up labeled samples 17 and 18. The experts they consulted later suggested that those are possibly from the 15th century and earlier than 1890, respectively.

The operations in H8 continued in the previous episode and was going well until the borehole collapsed. On the night of the same day, the cast discovered a six-foot-wide sinkhole has developed and it grew even bigger to 11 feet the following morning. With the latest development in H8, the results from the dye test on “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 15 could change the course of this year’s operations. Catch the new episode on Tuesday, March 5, at 9 p.m. ET on History.
