“The Big Bang Theory” season 12 episode 11 will welcome fans in 2019 with a paintball match. Though it might seem like a simple, friendly game it could fuel some existing misunderstandings among the characters and their respective onscreen partners.
One of the promo videos for “The Big Bang Theory” season 12 episode 11 shows that the paintball match is Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard’s (Johnny Galecki) idea. Of course, it would not be fun without the rest of the gang who are all highly competitive but are not known for having ample athletic skills.
The said paintball match almost seems like a quadruple date as well. They will be playing in two opposing teams but, noticeably, only Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) end up in the same group. The synopsis for “The Big Bang Theory” season 12 episode 11 hints at multiple conflicts arising between Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Anu (Rati Gupta) as well as Denise (Lauren Lapkus) and Stuart (Kevin Sussman).
Raj and Anu’s issue emerges after Koothrapali finds his partner spending time with her ex-boyfriend in “The Big Bang Theory” season 12 episode 11. Meanwhile, Denise and Stuart are not in good terms as well because the latter does not want them to move in together. The paintball match will certainly be a pool of comedic scenes but there is also a big chance for the game to help the characters find closure to their relationship issues.
It is unclear whether Howard and Bernadette will also be fighting about something particular in “The Big Bang Theory” season 12 episode 11. But Howard hints in a video teaser that he has been “annoying lately” so his Bernadette would certainly like to shoot him with the paintball gun.
While Amy and Sheldon are playing on the same team, they will also have to deal with some problems in “The Big Bang Theory” season 12 episode 11. The synopsis hints at the main protagonist getting “jealous of Amy.” It could be related to Amy’s upcoming interviews previewed in one of the promo videos.
“The Big Bang Theory” season 12 episode 11, airing on Thursday, Jan. 3, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, picks up from a roller coaster of a mid-season finale last December. After quite a depressing discovery that a Russian paper had already disproved Amy and Sheldon’s Super-Asymmetry theory, the couple found another plausible reason to jumpstart their study.
