“Steven Universe” Season 5 Episode 29 is titled “Change Your Mind” and will continue on the effort of Steven and Connie to escape their current situation. Right now, the two have been thrown in prison for violating strict protocols that govern the Great Diamond Authority, AV/TV Club reported.
It can be recalled that despite Steven being warned by Blue and Yellow to act within his station, he decided to dance with Connie in front of the whole court. To make matters worse, Steven and Connie inadvertently fused together to the horrors of everyone in attendance. As such, Blue and Yellow had to throw both characters in prison as they deliberate how to properly address the protocol breach. In “Steven Universe” Season 5 Episode 29, Steven might try convincing her aunts to rescind their punishment.
This speculation has some merit to it given the next release’s title. Meanwhile, the last episode saw Steven successfully making contact with Greg and Bismuth. This might mean that “Steven Universe” Season 5 Episode 29 will have both characters appearing in Homeworld.
If so, then Greg might also try to sway the Diamonds' verdict to fall on the softer side. But there’s also the chance of him complicating matters in “Steven Universe” Season 5 Episode 29 given that he’s the lover of Pink Diamond. Blue, Yellow, and White might not be too keen in meeting the human who is essentially their brother-in-law.
As for when “Steven Universe” Season 5 Episode 29 will air, nothing has been announced just yet but it’s being speculated to come out on Jan. 21. Speaking of the date, fans of the series should head over to the “Steven Universe” subreddit as the creators of the series will be doing an AMA (Ask Me Anything) at that time. This would be a great opportunity for fans who have burning questions about the show to ask the writers themselves. The discussion will start on Jan. 21, 2.pm. EST.
