“Steven Universe” Season 5 Episode 27 is gearing up for something big. During Steven’s “incarceration,” he managed to gain a bit of memory of his mother’s previous life, which provided him with a strong sense of purpose.
This purpose, as Steven said, will be focusing on throwing a ball where everyone diamond will be invited. Pearl said that Pink Diamond used to throw lavish parties when she was still around and it seems that Steven will be following the footsteps of his mom. It goes without saying that fans of the series are excited to see how this will unfold. However, it’s still unclear whether “Steven Universe” Season 5 Episode 27 will indeed feature this fete.
Perhaps show creator Rebecca Sugar will still need to set up some sort of tension in the plotline, which is already brewing at the moment. The previous episode saw that Blue and Yellow aren’t too fond of White since she’s become a recluse in the past millennia. Although the high-ranking diamonds appear to be at odds with each other, Steven will probably be the key in creating harmony between them. After all, Pink Diamond has been referred many times as the bridge that connects them all together. Even the little builders seen inside Steven’s room seem to confirm as much. Thus, “Steven Universe” Season 5 Episode 27 will not only set up or kick-start the ball, but would also ready the stage for some heartwarming moments.
This is certainly a welcome salve for the fans, especially since no one actually knows the personality of White at this point. There’s also the fact that the party would mark the first-ever gathering of the Diamonds in such a long time. On a side note, the previous episode had an interesting nugget within it. This Easter Egg came in the form of the diamond’s sauna. In real life, the best way to clean a diamond is to soak it in warm water that’s why Yellow and Blue were seen bathing in steaming hot water. As for when “Steven Universe” Season 5 Episode 27 will be released, it’s been slated to air on Dec. 31.
