In a unique collaboration aimed at empowering Black talent, Spike Lee's fellowship program has joined forces with Ralph Lauren to provide a chic professional wardrobe for participants. The Spike Fellows initiative is a partnership with Lee's agency, Gersh.

The program, led by Gersh's Jayson Council, emphasizes the importance of cross-industry partnerships to offer transformative opportunities to Black talent. Hollywood Reporter noted that Ralph Lauren's continued involvement highlights a commitment to fostering access and growth within the community. The fellowship, tailored specifically for undergraduate students at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), is open to applicants from Morehouse, Spelman, and Clark Atlanta.

Following the inaugural cohort's completion of the eight-week fellowship at Gersh's offices in New York and Los Angeles, all five Fellows transitioned into full-time roles at the agency. Application Process
Applications for the second cohort of Spike Fellows are now open to undergraduates from the Atlanta University Center Consortium. Comprising Morehouse College, Spelman College, and Clark Atlanta University, the consortium provides a platform for students interested in pursuing careers in the entertainment sector.
The program's expansion reflects a commitment to broadening access to valuable experiences and opportunities for aspiring professionals.
