SONIC Drive-In is celebrating the back-to-school season by offering exclusive teacher deals through the SONIC Teachers’ Circle program. From August 19 to September 1, 2024, educators can enjoy free cheeseburgers, drinks, and discounted onion rings at participating locations nationwide.
SONIC Drive-In Rewards Teachers with Exclusive Back-to-School Deals, Including Free Cheeseburgers and Drinks
As the back-to-school season approaches, SONIC Drive-In has introduced an exclusive deal for teachers. Recognizing the hard work of educators, SONIC is offering special rewards for those enrolled in the SONIC Teachers’ Circle rewards program. This program is available to faculty and staff at K-12 schools and degree-granting universities, and it provides teachers exclusive offers as they prepare for the new academic year.
From August 19 to September 1, 2024, members of the SONIC Teachers’ Circle can enjoy the following deals:
- A free SONIC Cheeseburger with any purchase
- A free large drink or Slush with any purchase
- Medium Onion Rings for just $1.29
Teachers who haven’t yet signed up for the SONIC Teachers’ Circle are encouraged to do so before August 19 to take advantage of these rewards. Each offer is valid for one-time use and must be redeemed through online orders or the SONIC app. These deals cannot be combined with combos, delivery orders, or other offers.
SONIC Deepens Its Support for Education with Limeaids for Learning and Exclusive Teacher Rewards
In addition to the exclusive deals for teachers, SONIC continues its commitment to supporting education through the Limeaids for Learning initiative. Celebrating its 15th year, this program donates a portion of profits from drinks, shakes, SONIC Blast, or Slush sales to fund local classrooms. Since 2019, SONIC has contributed over $27 million to public schools across the U.S., making it one of the most extensive programs of its kind.
SONIC’s rewards program for teachers offers a well-deserved treat for those who spend their days shaping young minds. The program provides special deals and rewards, including a free SONIC Cheeseburger or large drink/Slush and discounted Medium Onion Rings.
Earlier this year, during Teacher Appreciation Week in April, SONIC offered free and BOGO deals for educators on popular items like SONIC Blast, SONIC Cheeseburgers, beverages, and entrées. As the new school year begins, SONIC continues to show its appreciation for teachers with even more rewards.
Teachers interested in joining the Teachers’ Circle can quickly sign up through the SONIC app. After selecting the “I’m a teacher” option in the account settings, educators can fill out the necessary information to gain access to the program. Once verified, teachers will receive exclusive deals and rewards.
SONIC Introduces the SONIC Smasher Burger and $1.99 Fun.99 Menu to Ease Back-to-School Costs
As the school year kicks off, SONIC invites teachers to treat themselves to a burger, fries, and a milkshake. Alongside the teachers’ deals, SONIC recently introduced the SONIC Smasher, a new burger featuring two Angus patties, American cheese, crinkle-cut pickles, and diced onion on a potato bun.
With back-to-school expenses adding up, SONIC’s Fun.99 menu offers a variety of affordable options, with items priced at just $1.99. The Fun.99 menu includes:
- Southwest Crunch Queso Wrap
- Bacon Ranch Queso Wrap
- Tots
- Chili Cheese Coney
- Quarter Pounder Double Cheeseburger
- 16 oz classic and master shakes
SONIC continues supporting educators with these special offers, providing teachers and students with delicious and affordable meal options as they head back to school.
